Benchmarking
Accredited centers are required to participate in external benchmarking activities that compare key performance measures with other similar organizations, with recognized best practices, and/or national or professional targets or goals.
We facilitate an external benchmarking study for outpatient surgery centers each year.
Our benchmarking study is affordable with simple reporting tools. Participants decide what measures are studied each year which leads to more meaningful and useful results.
We ask participants to nominate and vote on measures that would be meaningful to their centers, distribute forms, and collect data 3 times a year.
Participants receive a summary of results in which all centers are anonymized with a description of findings, graphs depicting results, and comparison to national benchmarks.

Complete and submit forms in April, July, and October
